ATTENTION ALL WILSON COUNTY AMATEURS !!!  The Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) of Wilson County [ Wilson County ARES ] has reorganized and is recruiting members now.  An Emergency Coordinator for Wilson County is being sought.  All amateur radio operators willing to dedicate time, equipment and skills toward building a dependable, well-trained and committed ARES Team are encouraged to apply.  If you are interested in being trained, and putting that training and your skills to good use for your community using amateur radio, download an ARES Application, print it, fill it out and mail it to the address provided.  If you would like more information on becoming an ARES volunteer, contact any of the Assistant EC listed at the bottom of the Wilson County ARES web page.  - [09 Jul 2008]

Map of Hams by Zip Code.  Yet another amateur call sign mapping service via the ARRL using Yahoo maps.  Point your browser to: www.arrl.org/fcc/hamszip.html?zip=  and enter the Zip Code. - [21 July 2007]

Map of Hams by Zip Code.  Wonder who lives there?  If it's a ham, you can find out using this cool mapping utility provided by Vanity HQ. (Look for N4MC's Ham Locator on the Vanity HQ home page). Just enter a Zip Code, wait for the map to render, then click on the blue pins for name, call sign and address  www.vanityhq.com  - [21 July 2007]
